SBOI Darshan News 12th March
Swami came out at appx. 7:15 a.m. in
the morning. The Veda chanting filled the morning atmosphere of Sai
Kulwant hall with spiritual “fragrance”, the Veda chanting continued till
8:50. a.m. At 8:40 Swami called a (lucky) boy student from 1st line &
created a gold chain & put around his neck; following that Swami
(steadily) got up from His chair with the students help & started walking
towards interview room. Swami was in bhajan mandir at 8:50 a.m. with in
seconds of Swami’s arrival in the mandir, bhajans begin. Bhajans ended at
9:15. and Swami walked to his Porte Car & went back to his residence.
In the evening Bhagwan came out to bless us devotees with His darshan at
3:40 p.m. before coming to Sai Kulwant hall Swami dropped by to inspect
the on going work at His new residence.
Swami was inside the new building for almost 15 min. Swami didn’t come
directly to the Kulwant hall from there but instead went back to His
present abode. Eventually, at appx. 3:40 p.m. every one could see Swami’s
car coming towards Sai Kulwant hall, a sigh of relief! Moreover, one could
reap the fruits of all that waiting in the token lines under the hot
baking sun of Puttparthi. Jai Sai Ram! Finally Swami’s darshan – and
million thoughts in everyone’s mind! Would He look at me? Take my letter
today? Give me padanamaskaram? Perhaps, He may talk to me or smile?
Indeed, an expectant, mind of Sai devotee, waiting for divine darshan.
Swami took complete round & collected some letters from gent’s side.
Bhagawan got down near interview room & went inside the interview room.
Swami was inside the interview room for nearly 10 min. & came out on
veranda. Bit later VC - Prof. Anil Gokak made an announcement about the
speech to be delivered by the speakers - Today Swami blessed 2 speakers to
address the devotees about their experiences. 1) Dr. Chitti Babu - think
he is a board member of the institute. 2) Dr.(Mrs). Jayalakshmi Gopinath
popularly known as Jayamma - Warden of Anantapur campus. An old-timer
devotee, since her childhood she has spent her life at Swami’s lotus feet
doing seva for Swami’s educational mission. Her many experiences with
Swami are endless, she is also a very lovable human being with very sweet
tone of voice which is occasionally applied to translate/ interpret
Swami's discourses, for instance on ladies day etc. Today Mrs. Jayalakshmi
ended her speech after 15min. however, Swami affectionately told her to
continue hence *her speech went on till 5:20. p.m. Immediately after the
speech boys started the bhajans & after the 3rd bhajan Swami called for
Aarti, the Arathi was offered to Swami, subsequently at 5:45 Swami drove
back to His abode.
